A virtual program addressing Islamic chaplaincy, its roots in the Quran, the Tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and its application in palliative care. Speakers include Chaplain Sondos Kholaqi, Chaplain Sakinah Alhabshi, and Dr. Ramy Salah. Moderated by Dr. Kamal Abu-Shamsieh, founder and chairman of Ziyara.

Become a Volunteer!

Volunteers provide spiritual care support to patients and families. All volunteers receive training on how to assess the religious and spiritual needs of patients, protecting their privacy, topics to raise, dua or Quran to read. An application, interview, background check and meeting hospital guidelines are required.
