Stanford Hospital Islamic Chaplaincy Holds Eid Celebration

The Islamic Chaplaincy at Stanford Hospital and Clinics celebrated Eid Al-Adha on Tuesday, October 30th. 

The event was cosponsored by Spiritual Care Department at Stanford  and Muslim Volunteer Group and the celebration included a presentation on the meaning of the Pilgrimage and the significance or Eid Al-Adha.  Light Dinner was served.

Become a Volunteer!

Volunteers provide spiritual care support to patients and families. All volunteers receive training on how to assess the religious and spiritual needs of patients, protecting their privacy, topics to raise, dua or Quran to read. An application, interview, background check and meeting hospital guidelines are required.
