Doors open for chaplains of all faiths

A not-for-profit organization in Fresno is reaching out to people of diverse cultures, ethnicities and religions as it educates, trains and certifies chaplains.

Clinical Pastoral Education of Central California opened in February in classrooms donated by Saint Agnes Medical Center in northeast Fresno.

Ten students completed courses in the classroom as well as at clinical settings in the spring and summer quarters. Now, six students are enrolled in the fall quarter that began Tuesday.
